HHS Operations Starting June 15th

HEALTH AND HUMAN and WIC Open By Appointment

Beginning Monday, June 15, 2020, HHS and WIC will begin seeing the public by appointment at both the Pahrump and Tonopah locations. The following restrictions will apply:

  • Temperatures will be taken before entry into the Pahrump building (Marilynn Gallivan Complex, 1981 E. Calvada Blvd) or Tonopah office (Nye County Courthouse Complex, 101 Radar Road).
  • If temperature is 100 degrees or higher, client(s) may wait 10-15 to have it retaken. If it has not dropped to 99 degrees or lower, client(s) will be asked to work with staff electronically.
  • All client(s) must wear a mask or face covering prior to entry and for the duration of their visit, or staff can work with client(s) electronically.
  • Clients are to enter the building from the south side glass door entrance and exit the building at the north side/Calvada Blvd. glass doors.
  • Must adhere to 6’ – 10’ Social Distancing.
  • Only one client or client unit will be allowed in office lobby areas at one time.

 Veterans Services remains closed and the Community Health Nurse in Pahrump and Tonopah remain by appointment.
